What the
equipment does
We supply lines that recycle post-consumer plastics into high-quality pellets, based on cascade, single-screw and twin-screw extruders. The extruder type and line composition are chosen for the feedstock and output and fixed in the project specification.
Product quality depends on the right choice of extruder screw, motor power and L/D ratio, and on whether melt degassing and filtration are used. For the washing line wastewater, we have developed a closed-loop treatment system that lets you reuse the water many times, up to 20 times.
In practice, lines of up to 300 kg/h make the most sense; larger ones are usually inefficient. The line price is calculated from the specification: besides the catalogue units it includes the shredder, extruder, conveyors, water treatment, engineering, installation and commissioning.
What the line includes
- Flotation washers with special parallel screws for primary treatment of heavily contaminated plastics
- Rotor-type friction washers with hot water supply and detergent dosing
- Dewatering centrifuge with a 2,000 mm working shaft
- Drum dryers for thick-walled rigid plastics and vertical gravity dryers for film and big-bag (FIBC) yarn
- Screw feeder (crammer) into the extruder feed zone, which eliminates the agglomeration step
From dirty film
to pellets
An interactive drawing based on the photos, specifications and open sources. The line is laid out in a U: washing at the back, pelletizing at the front, pneumatic conveying in between.
- The unit the material is passing through now, or the one you picked
- Material flow: flakes on the belt and in the flotation bath, pellets above the big bag
